As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Norman Regional Health System, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care during cardiovascular procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Assessing patient conditions, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
- Maintaining a sterile environment.
You will also be responsible for serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff, and using downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
