We work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
Requirements:
Education:
A completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
Experience:
Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
