Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
You will be responsible for preparing equipment, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and maintaining sterile environments. The ideal candidate will have a background in radiologic technology and hold necessary certifications, ensuring effective patient support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Assess patient conditions and prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Participate in the orientation of new staff and serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Use downtime effectively by completing delegated tasks.
- Maintain strong relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
