Compensation and Benefits

• $30.11-$49.17/hour based on previous work experience.
• Evening differential: $2.50/hour
• Night differential: $3.00/hour
• Weekend differential: $3.00/hour

Job Description

The Charge Nurse coordinates nursing services in the NICU by leading, directing, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team. They serve as department leader in the absence of the Nurse Manager.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Prioritize care tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively.
• Provide safe direct and indirect nursing care to patients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of NICU experience and stable employment history.

Additional qualifications include current Oklahoma RN licensure, Basic Life Support training, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification. Participation in Perinatal Continuing Education and completion of STABLE program within 1 year are also required.
