Job Description
The Charge Nurse coordinates nursing services in the NICU by leading, directing, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team. They serve as department leader in the absence of the Nurse Manager.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Prioritize care tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively.
- Provide safe direct and indirect nursing care to patients.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of NICU experience and stable employment history.
