Norman Regional Health System seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Dietitian-PRN to join our team.
As a Clinical Dietitian-PRN, you will conduct initial nutrition assessments and provide ongoing support and education to patients and staff. Your expertise in specialized areas like diabetes and renal nutrition will enable you to make informed decisions to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initial Nutrition Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patient condition to identify nutritional needs.
- Ongoing Reassessment and Follow-Up Care: Provide regular reassessments and follow-up care to patients.
- Nutrition Education Services: Deliver education to patients and staff on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Must possess a registered dietitian credential and comply with state licensure requirements. Stay up-to-date with the latest nutritional research to provide optimal care. Previous experience in an acute care facility is desired but not required.
Additional Requirements:
Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an Oklahoma State Dietitian license are mandatory. A food handler's permit from the Cleveland County Health department is required prior to hire (or within 1 week of hire). General and patient care orientation completion is necessary before providing patient care.
