A Day in the Life of an RN in Our Ortho/Spine Unit
As an RN in our Ortho/Spine unit, your day will be filled with exciting opportunities to deliver high-quality patient care. You will assess and reassess patients, analyzing patient data to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes. You will then implement interventions to achieve goals and needs, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care. You will also evaluate patient outcomes, utilizing evidence-based knowledge to recognize problems and reach sound conclusions.
Our Unit
Our Ortho/Spine unit is a 32-bed unit specializing in orthopedic patients. We have disease-specific certification from the Joint Commission in Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement, and Hip Fracture patients, making us a center of excellence. We also care for Total Shoulder and Ankle patients, as well as other fractures, making every day a new challenge and opportunity to grow.
