Job Summary
This position involves preparing and maintaining equipment for procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and providing patient care and support throughout procedures. You will also establish and maintain a sterile environment, serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and use downtime appropriately to stock rooms, check equipment, and perform other delegated tasks. Your strong communication and teamwork skills will enable you to maintain effective relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Education and Experience
• Completion of a formal program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Basic Life Support certification
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• Previous procedural area experience preferred
• Strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
