Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist: A Critical Role in Patient Care
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a vital role in the delivery of high-quality patient care in the cardiovascular program at Norman Regional Health System. This position involves preparing equipment, providing patient care in a sterile environment, and collaborating with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care. You will also establish and maintain a sterile environment and precept new hires and radiology students.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
