Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our cath lab team, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures. You will work closely with cardiologists and electrophysiologists in a state-of-the-art facility, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring all competencies are met within the required timeframe.

Responsibilities
* Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available
* Identify and assess patient condition, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide individualized care
* Prepare, position, and provide patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care
* Establish and maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols to prevent infection and promote patient safety
* Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, sharing your expertise and knowledge to support their growth and development
* Participate in the orientation of new staff, facilitating their transition into our dynamic and fast-paced environment
Qualifications
* Hold a valid registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
* Possess a current certificate in Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
* Have completed a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
* Demonstrate a minimum of one year of experience working in a procedural area, preferably in a hospital setting
* Possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS training or willingness to obtain within six months of hire
