Vascular Imaging Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Vascular Imaging Technologist to join our team at the Norman Regional Health System. In this role, you will prepare and operate equipment during vascular imaging procedures, ensuring patient care and sterile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support training required during orientation prior to providing patient care, and maintained through re-training for duration of employment.
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience.
