Norman Regional Health System is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Catheterization Laboratory (CV) Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a CV Rad Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and operating equipment for cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment.
About the Role:
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Maintain a sterile environment during procedures, adhering to strict protocols to prevent infection.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- AAS degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
