Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager
Education and Experience:
Educational Qualifications: Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
BLS and ACLS Training: Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment; ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
Compensation and Benefits:
- $27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
