What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rad Tech for Cath Lab Procedures position at Norman Regional Health System?
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Identify and assess patient condition to provide appropriate care and support.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures to prevent infection and promote healing.
Qualifications
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Prior experience in a procedural area is preferred, but not required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care, and current BLS certification is required to be maintained throughout employment.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
