About the Job:
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist is a critical member of our cardiovascular team, responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment during procedures while ensuring patient care and a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare and maintain equipment before and during procedures.
- Patient Care: Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Sterile Environment: Maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Preceptorship: Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Downtime Activities: Participate in downtime activities such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks.
- Professional Relationships: Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, eligible and/or registered as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Experience: Prior experience in procedural areas is preferred but not required.
- Certifications: Registered Radiographer (RT(R)) and/or RCIS certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) training is required prior to providing patient care.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $27.84-$45.46, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
Salary : $28 - $45
