We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team of professionals at Norman Regional Health System. This role requires the ability to prepare and operate equipment during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient care and a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a procedural area, preferably in a Cath Lab setting, and possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Responsibilities include preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, establishing and maintaining a sterile environment, serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff, and maintaining strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership. To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a degree from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program, registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS), and basic life support training with advanced life support certification expected within six months of hire.
