What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rad Technologist - Cath Lab Cardiovascular Program position at Norman Regional Health System?
As a dedicated member of the Norman Regional Health System team, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists. Our innovative cardiovascular program is accredited by the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation and has received numerous awards, including the Women's Choice Award in Heart Care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment. The successful candidate will also participate in the orientation of new staff, serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and use downtime appropriately. A minimum of one year of experience working in a Cath Lab is preferred, as well as registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS and Basic Life Support certification.
