Job Description
This role involves preparing equipment for cardiovascular procedures while delivering exceptional patient care in a sterile environment.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cardiologists and serve as a preceptor for new staff and radiology students.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition
- Maintaining a sterile environment
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a graduate degree in Radiography or a related field, and be registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
You should also have Basic Life Support (BLS) training and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
