Job Description
The successful candidate will prepare and operate advanced cardiovascular equipment while providing patient care in a sterile environment.
Collaboration with cardiologists and involvement in training new staff and students are essential aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and operation of equipment during procedures.
- Patient assessment and provision of care in a sterile environment.
- Maintenance of a sterile environment.
- Training and mentorship of new staff and radiology students.
Requirements
- Completion of Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS.
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.
