Responsibilities and Requirements
This role involves:
- Preparing equipment for procedures, ensuring that all necessary items are readily available.
- Assessing patient conditions and making recommendations for care.
- Maintaining a sterile environment during procedures, adhering to strict protocols to prevent contamination.
- Providing patient care and support during procedures, prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
- A strong foundation in radiologic technology, preferably with a 24-month formal program or military program.
- Prior procedural area experience is highly desirable.
- Certification as a Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS (RCIS).
- BLS and ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
