Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Technologist in the Cardiovascular Department. As a key member of our cath lab team, you will play a vital role in preparing equipment, identifying and assessing patient conditions, and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures.
You will work closely with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety. Your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining a sterile environment and participating in the orientation of new staff members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Achieve certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- One year of experience working in a procedural area is preferred
- BLS training is required; ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire
