This position plays a crucial role in the cath lab by preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures. Strong collaboration with cardiologists and leadership is essential to ensure exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will also serve as a preceptor for new staff and participate in the orientation process.
Responsibilities:- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
