Cath Lab Radiologic Technology Specialist Job Description
As a Radiologic Technology Specialist in our Cath Lab department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular program. Your responsibilities will include preparing equipment for procedures, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Essential Functions:
- Equipment preparation and positioning for cardiovascular procedures
- Patient assessment and care
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
- Preceptoring new hires and radiology students
- Collaboration with cardiologists and medical staff
Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or RCIS certified
- Basic Life Support certification required, Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
