Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing and assisting with procedures, ensuring patient care and maintaining a sterile environment. You will work closely with cardiologists and support new staff through orientation.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepares equipment before and during procedures* Identifies and assesses patient condition* Prepares, positions, and provides patient care* Establishes and maintains a sterile environment* Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students* Participates in the orientation of new staff* Uses downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS. Previous procedural area experience is preferred, and you should possess Basic Life Support (BLS) training and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
