Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist Job Summary
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a critical role in our cardiovascular program, working collaboratively with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to prepare and assist during procedures. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain a sterile environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for:
* Preparing equipment before and during procedures
* Identifying and assessing patient condition
* Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment
* Collaborating with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to achieve exceptional patient care outcomes
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS. Previous Procedural Area experience is preferred. You will also need to hold certifications such as Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) training, and ACLS training within 6 months of hire.
