Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during cardiovascular procedures.
- Operates complex medical equipment, including imaging systems and hemodynamic monitoring devices.
- Maintains accurate records and reports, including procedure details and patient outcomes.
- Serves as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Collaborates with cardiologists to develop treatment plans and deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or equivalent.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or RCIS certification.
- Basic Life Support training required; Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months.
