Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
- Assess patient condition and provide appropriate care.
- Participate in the orientation of new staff and serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership.
Education and Certification
Candidates must hold a completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology, be American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS, and have previous procedural area experience preferred.
Candidates must also possess Basic Life Support (BLS) training and ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
