Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for cardiac imaging procedures.
- Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Precept new hires and radiology students.
- Participate in staff orientation and other delegated tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology.
- Eligibility and/or current RCIS certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current BLS certification required to be maintained through re-training during employment.
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
