Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain catheterization laboratory equipment according to established standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient workflow and effective patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance knowledge and skills in cardiac technology.
- Assist in orienting new staff members to departmental policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve quality metrics and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire.
- Previous experience working in a procedural area and familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs).
