Key Responsibilities
- Procedure Preparation: Prepare equipment before and during procedures to ensure optimal performance.
- Patient Assessment: Assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Sterile Environment: Establish and maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Professional Development: Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff, and use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certification: Current registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Experience: One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) training required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
