Key Responsibilities
The Radiographic Imaging Professional at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for:
- Preparing equipment for procedures.
- Assessing patient conditions and providing patient care.
- Maintaining a sterile environment.
- Participating in new hire orientations and serving as a preceptor.
- Effectively utilizing downtime through room stocking, equipment checks, and delegated tasks.
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with physicians and leadership.
Education and Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program is required.
Prior experience in a procedural area is preferred.
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International is essential, along with certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support within six months of hire.
