About the Position
- Collaborate with a team of cardiologists to prepare equipment and maintain a sterile environment.
- Provide patient care and positioning during procedures.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment, adhering to professional standards.
- Participates in precepting new hires and radiology students.
- Maintains strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
