The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System plays a critical role in the delivery of exceptional patient care in our innovative cardiovascular program. This position requires a skilled Registered Technologist who can prepare equipment, provide patient care, and maintain a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will have certification in Radiologic Technology and experience in a Cath Lab, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Responsibilities and Requirements**
Preparation of equipment before and during procedures, identification and assessment of patient condition, establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment, service as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participation in the orientation of new staff, and maintenance of strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership are some of the key responsibilities of this position. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program, one year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred, registration as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS, basic life support training, and advanced life support within six months of hire.
