Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare and maintain all necessary equipment for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring timely availability and optimal functionality.
- Patient Care: Provide expert care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures, prioritizing their comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Sterile Environment Maintenance: Maintain aseptic conditions throughout the cath lab, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Professional Practice: Serve as a mentor and preceptor for new staff members, fostering growth and development within the team.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Qualifications and Education
Awarded qualifications include:
- Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Certification from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- BLS certification and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
