Responsibilities:
Job Summary
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Professional Practice
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist and completion of advanced life support training within six months of hiring.
Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program.
One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
