The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist will be responsible for preparing and managing equipment during cardiovascular procedures. This includes identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for procedures, and providing care during the procedure. Additionally, the technologist will establish and maintain a sterile environment throughout the procedure. The technologist will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program and will have one year of experience working in a Cath Lab. Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS is required, as well as Basic Life Support certification. Advanced Life Support certification must be achieved within six months of hire.
