What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Imaging Technician - Catheterization Laboratory position at Norman Regional Health System?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate equipment for cardiovascular procedures
- Ensure patient care and maintain a sterile environment
- Collaborate with cardiologists and serve as mentor for new staff and students
- Hold appropriate certifications and complete required competencies within six months of hire
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or
- Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
