Responsibilities of the Role
As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifying and assessing patient conditions, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
- Establishing and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Professional Practice.
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participating in the orientation of new staff.
Qualifications Required
To be eligible for this role, candidates must have:
- Completed a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
- Certified in cardiovascular (CV), cardiac invasive (CI), and/or vascular intervention (VI).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
