We are excited to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our dynamic team! Our innovative cardiovascular program is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and strives for continuous improvement.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in preparing and maintaining equipment, ensuring a sterile environment, and supporting a team of cardiologists while mentoring new staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures.
- Assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care.
- Maintaining a sterile environment.
- Participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Maintaining strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous procedural area experience is preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration as a Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) maintenance through re-training throughout employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
