Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS to join our team. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing patient care in a cutting-edge cardiovascular program.
This position involves preparing and managing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and ensuring a sterile environment during procedures.
The technologist will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and assist in maintaining professional relationships with physicians and leadership for optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Assess patient condition and provide patient care
- Maintain a sterile environment
Qualifications
- Completed Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
- Completed all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
- Education: Completed 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
- Experience: Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
