Job Summary: The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a critical role in our cardiovascular program by preparing equipment and providing patient care in a sterile environment. Collaborating with physicians and staff is essential to ensuring the highest levels of patient care. Responsibilities include serving as a preceptor for new staff, preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Qualifications: Graduates of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program are preferred. One year of experience working in a Cath Lab is also beneficial. Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS) is required. Basic Life Support certification is also necessary.
