About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist - Cardiovascular Program to join our Cath Lab Team. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and previous procedural experience in a cath lab setting. This role requires strong collaboration with cardiologists and electrophysiologists, as well as responsibilities such as precepting new hires and maintaining professional relationships to facilitate excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
