As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment for procedures, ensuring patient care, and establishing a sterile environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition. Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment.
- Professional Practice.
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
