Norman Regional Health System is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of cardiovascular medicine. We are seeking a skilled RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST - CARDIOVASCULAR PROGRAM to join our team and contribute to our mission.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and holds additional certifications such as RCIS. You will collaborate with our team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists, serving as a mentor for new staff and radiology students.
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
