Job Description: The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist prepares and maintains equipment for cardiovascular procedures while delivering exceptional patient care in a sterile environment. This role involves collaboration with cardiologists, serving as a preceptor for new staff, and adhering to strict accreditation and certification requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares equipment before and during procedures.
- Identifies and assesses patient condition.
- Prepares, positions, and provides patient care.
- Maintains a sterile environment.
Requirements:
- Completion of Radiologic or Cardiovascular Technology programs.
- Relevant certifications and life support training.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
