Norman Regional Health System is seeking a talented Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care in a state-of-the-art cardiovascular program. Key responsibilities include maintaining a sterile environment, assessing patient conditions, and supporting new staff training.
About Norman Regional Health System
We are a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area. We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are looking for caring knowledgeable Registered Technologists to expand our team. Our facilities include three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

Responsibilities and Requirements
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition
- Preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
- Maintaining a sterile environment
In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will also:
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Participate in the orientation of new staff
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
- Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
- Experience: Previous procedural area experience preferred
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification; Basic Life Support training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care; Current Basic Life Support required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment; ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment
