Job Description:
This position plays a vital role in our cardiovascular program, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care during procedures. As a Cath Lab RT, you will work closely with cardiologists to prepare equipment, maintain a sterile environment, and provide patient care. You will also serve as a preceptor for new staff and students, sharing your expertise and knowledge to ensure their success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage equipment for procedures
- Maintain a sterile environment during procedures
- Provide patient care during procedures
- Collaborate with cardiologists to ensure smooth procedure execution
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
