Job Summary:
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist at Norman Regional Health System is responsible for preparing and operating equipment during cardiovascular procedures, providing essential patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment. This role involves collaborating with a team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists while also serving as a preceptor for new hires and trainees.
Candidates should have a background in Radiologic Technology with relevant certifications and must complete necessary training upon hire.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.
