Job Description
The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a crucial role in the cardiovascular program, ensuring patient care and equipment preparation in a sterile environment. As a registered technologist, you will serve as a preceptor for new hires and maintain strong relationships with medical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Assess patient condition and provide personalized care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Maintain professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.
Requirements
- Certification from recognized radiologic technology programs.
- Proficiency in basic and advanced life support.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training required.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire.
Education and Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- One year of experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
