The Norman Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our cardiovascular team. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in preparing equipment and providing patient care in a sterile environment. This position requires collaboration with cardiologists and electrophysiologists, as well as the ability to guide new staff and students.
We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and have invested in state-of-the-art facilities, including three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. Our team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists work together to provide comprehensive care.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
Requirements and Qualifications
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation, with current BLS certification maintained throughout employment
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment
