Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated Radiologic Technologist who will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, preparing, positioning, and providing patient care, establishing and maintaining a sterile environment, serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, using downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager, maintaining strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have completed a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, be eligible and/or current RCIS, and possess American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification. Previous procedural area experience is preferred. Basic Life Support training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care, and Current Basic Life Support is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
